These website Terms do not replace or override a written estimate, proposal, contract, invoice, change order, warranty, or other project-specific agreement signed or otherwise accepted by the parties. Where a project-specific agreement contains terms that conflict with these website Terms, the project-specific agreement will control with respect to that project.

Not every service, material, or design shown on the website is necessarily available for every property or location.
3. Estimates and Proposals
Information provided on the website, including pricing information, examples, photographs, descriptions, and general project information, is for informational purposes unless expressly identified as a formal estimate or proposal.
A website inquiry or discussion does not create an obligation for Southline Fence Co. to perform work.
Project pricing is determined based on the specific scope and conditions of the project and may depend on factors including:
-
Linear footage
-
Fence height and style
-
Materials selected
-
Number and type of gates
-
Property access
-
Terrain
-
Soil conditions
-
Existing fence removal
-
Existing structures
-
Underground or concealed conditions
-
Required permits
-
Utility locations
-
Disposal requirements
-
Customer-requested changes
A formal estimate or proposal will identify the applicable scope and pricing.
4. Acceptance of Work
Work will be scheduled after the required acceptance of the estimate or proposal and payment of any required deposit, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
An estimate, proposal, invoice, or other project document may contain additional terms that apply to the specific project.
5. Deposits and Payments
If a project requires a deposit, the required amount and payment terms will be stated in the applicable estimate, proposal, contract, or invoice.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the remaining balance is due according to the payment terms stated on the applicable project documents.
Failure to make required payments may result in delays, suspension of work, collection efforts, or other remedies available under the applicable agreement and law.
6. Changes to the Scope of Work
Customer-requested changes or conditions requiring additional work may result in additional charges.
When practical, changes to the scope of work will be communicated to the customer before the additional work is performed.

The customer should identify known:

Underground utilities

Irrigation systems

Southline Fence Co. may rely on information provided by the customer, utility-locating services, surveys, property records, and other available information.
Southline Fence Co. is not responsible for damage to undisclosed private utilities, irrigation systems, drainage systems, landscaping, structures, or other concealed conditions unless caused by Southline Fence Co.'s negligence or otherwise agreed in writing.
8. Utility Locating
Where required, utility locating may be coordinated through Georgia 811 or another applicable utility-locating service.
Customers are responsible for identifying private underground utilities that may not be located through standard public utility-locating services.
Examples may include privately installed irrigation lines, invisible fences, landscape lighting, private electrical lines, or other customer-installed utilities.
The customer should disclose known private utilities before work begins.
9. Property Lines and Surveys
Unless specifically agreed in writing, Southline Fence Co. does not act as a licensed land surveyor and does not independently certify property boundaries.
The customer is responsible for providing accurate property-line information or obtaining a survey when necessary.
Southline Fence Co. may rely on property information, surveys, stakes, plats, or boundary information provided by the customer.
10. Permits, HOA Requirements, and Approvals
The customer is responsible for notifying Southline Fence Co. of applicable HOA requirements, restrictions, easements, covenants, or other property-specific requirements that may affect the project.
Where applicable, the parties may agree in writing regarding responsibility for obtaining permits or approvals.
Additional costs caused by permit requirements, HOA requirements, design restrictions, or other previously undisclosed requirements may be charged to the customer when applicable.
11. Existing Fence Removal and Disposal
When removal of an existing fence is included in the scope of work, the applicable estimate or proposal will identify the included removal and disposal.
Existing fence components, concrete, posts, vegetation, debris, or other materials that require additional labor or disposal beyond the agreed scope may result in additional charges.
12. Installation Conditions
Fence installation is affected by natural and existing property conditions.
Southline Fence Co. cannot guarantee that every post will encounter identical soil, rock, roots, groundwater, or other conditions.
Reasonable installation methods will be used based on the conditions encountered.
Unusually difficult conditions may require additional work or changes to the installation method.
13. Materials and Appearance
Natural wood products may contain variations in color, grain, knots, texture, moisture content, and appearance.
Wood may naturally weather, shrink, expand, warp, split, or change color over time.
Such natural characteristics are not necessarily defects.
Materials may occasionally be substituted when necessary because of availability, provided the substitute is reasonably comparable and appropriate for the project, unless the applicable project agreement states otherwise.
14. Customer-Provided Materials
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, Southline Fence Co. is not responsible for defects, failures, shortages, incompatibility, or other issues arising from materials supplied by the customer.
Customer-provided materials may not be covered by Southline Fence Co.'s workmanship warranty.
15. Workmanship Warranty
Unless a different warranty is expressly stated in the applicable project documents, Southline Fence Co. provides a five-year limited workmanship warranty on qualifying fence installation labor.
This warranty covers defects in workmanship directly attributable to Southline Fence Co.'s installation work.
The warranty does not cover damage or failure caused by circumstances outside the workmanship itself, including:

-
Neglect or misuse
-
Alteration or repair by others

Phone: [PHONE NUMBER]
Email: [EMAIL ADDRESS]
Warranty claims must include a description of the issue and photographs when reasonably available.
Southline Fence Co. may inspect the reported issue before determining whether it is covered by the warranty.
If a covered workmanship defect is confirmed, Southline Fence Co. will determine the appropriate remedy, which may include repair or correction of the affected workmanship.
17. No Implied Extension of Warranty
A repair or correction performed under the warranty does not automatically extend the original warranty period unless expressly agreed to in writing.
18. Website Content and Photographs
We make reasonable efforts to provide accurate information on the website. However, photographs, renderings, descriptions, colors, dimensions, and examples may not exactly represent the finished appearance of a particular project.
