New Fence
Every project begins with a scheduled estimate. We measure the property, discuss the scope of work, and provide a detailed estimate. Once approved, Georgia 811 is scheduled to mark underground utilities before digging begins.
We then mark each post location and excavate the holes to the proper depth. Posts are set in concrete and allowed to cure before construction continues. The following day, we build the fence to your specifications and finish with the gates, if included.
Staining & Painting
Protecting your fence is just as important as building it. Painting or staining helps protect the wood from moisture, UV exposure, cracking, and premature aging while keeping your fence looking its best.
For a new wood fence, we recommend allowing the wood to properly dry before staining. Depending on the type of wood and weather conditions, this can typically take several weeks. Staining too soon can prevent the wood from properly absorbing the stain and can lead to an uneven finish.
